Excursion
All conference participant with full registration will have an excursion trip in August 15th. This one, full-day trip will visit several interesting sites in Karst of Gunung Sewu. We will depart at 06.00 am and plan to return at 19.00.

Notes
The organizer will provide lunch for participants. Please use a comfortable outfit as we will visit outdoor site. In addition, please be sure to bring and prepare:
- Sunscreen
- Umbrella
- Changing cloths
- Waterproof camera if available
- Spare money in rupiah if you want to buy your own snacks or foods. Not all shops have electronic payment machine

Located in Wonogiri Regency, this karst provides an overview of karst areas in Indonesia and a center for karst education in Indonesia
Seropan Cave
An underground river that has been used for water supply.
Ngingrong Valley & Stone Park
Ngingrong valley remarks the unique landform of Karst of Gunung Sewu. In this area there is also a stone park that has rock and stone collection from Karst of Gunung Sewu
Baron Beach Resurgent
One of the main fresh water resurgents in Karst of Gunung Sewu
Post Conference Trip
We invite you to join our post conference trips. For a whole day in August 16th, visit several sites or explore one of our most spectacular caves: Jomblang Cave. These trips are excluded from the registration fees, please book a seat. Each trip is for minimum 10 persons. Contact our team for further information.
Karst Hydrogeology Trip
Visit several hydrogeology sites: underground rivers, karst springs, and sinking streams. Under the karst hydrogeology theme, we will learn the characteristic and properties of hydrogeology in Karst of Gunung Sewu.

Please use a comfortable outfit with tracking shoes or hiking sandals. We may a little tracking to reach the sinking stream with a slippery and slope terrain. We will provide basic safety equipment in visiting Seropan Cave. We suggest you to prepare:
- Sun protection (sunscreen/umbrella)
- Changing cloth (optional)
- Headlamp (if available)
- Spare money in rupiah if you need to buy snack or food during the trip
Geopark Trip
This trip offers several Geo-sites in Gunung Sewu UNESCO Global Geopark: base formation, karst phenomena. Visit them to understand the geological values of this geopark.

Cave Exploration Trip
Explore Jomblang Cave and experience the whole package of underground world of Karst of Gunung Sewu: descend through collapsed sinkhole, immerse in the light if Grubug Cave, and cruise the underground river. Prepare your equipment, if you do not bring one, contact us for the Single Rope Technique equipment.

There’s a changing plan in cave exploration as we will explore this cave by guide and cave operators
Notes
We will provide several anchors and ropes. Prepare your full gear for vertical cave exploration (SRT Set, helmet, lighting). Before exploring we will have equipment inspection and inventory. The organizer will coordinate this process.
